I love being a photographer. I doubt you will find many of us who do not love what they do. What other job do you get to be creative, have an ever changing office of beautiful locations, connect with lots of unique and wonderful people, and create images that (hopefully) touch peoples hearts, that help them feel good about themselves.
One of the expressions of photography I do is weddings. I feel so privileged and honoured to be asked to document these beautiful days. While all weddings are wonderful some have that little extra specialness to them. It is not the location or details or the dress that make them special it is the intangible stuff; the heartfelt love, the true connection between two people, and the embracing love surrounding them from their families and friends. These weddings are just pure pleasure to document. Luckily most of the weddings I am commissioned to photograph are like these.
This wedding of Mary and Dominic was one of those most special weddings. There is a beautiful connection and respect between them and their family and friends gathered around them under a beautiful tree as they shared their love and friendship for each other. They wrote their vows to each other. They were personal, heartfelt, and funny. They both beamed with love. Thank you both for inviting me into your day.
